Upcycle Art From Everyday Objects - Play Series

March 31st - 6:30pm-9:00pm

In this relaxed, beginner-friendly session, you’ll transform a simple glass vase or wine bottle into a decorative art piece using acrylic paint, layered color, stencils, and expressive mark-making. We’ll explore how artists build visual interest through texture, pattern, and playful imperfections, and you’ll be guided step-by-step while still having freedom to make it uniquely your own.

No painting or drawing experience is needed. This isn’t about perfect technique — it’s about experimenting, enjoying the process, and leaving with something you’ll genuinely want to display at home.

By the end of the evening you’ll have a one-of-a-kind functional artwork and, more importantly, the confidence that creativity is something you can return to anytime.

All materials are included, so you can simply arrive, settle in, and create.

What You’ll Experience

• A relaxed, welcoming studio environment, limited to just 12 artists so everyone receives individual attention.

• Gentle guidance throughout (never a lecture-style class)

• Techniques for layering color, pattern, and expressive mark-making

• Protective wrapping to safely take your artwork home

  • Acrylic paints, brushes, stencils, and decorative finishes

  • A glass vase or bottle to transform into a decorative piece

  • Practice paper, examples, and reference ideas

Who This Class Is For

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Complete beginners

  • People wanting a low-commitment creative experience

  • Friends, parent/teen pairs, or anyone wanting a relaxing activity

Why This Class Is Worthwhile

Creative time is often the first thing people give up when life gets busy. This workshop offers a gentle way to reconnect with creativity without pressure or commitment. You’ll learn real techniques, experience creative relaxation, and leave with handmade pieces that feel personal and thoughtful.

This Class Is Perfect If You’re Thinking…

  • “I’ve always wanted to try painting a bottle.”

  • “I’m not sure I’m artistic enough for a real art class.”

  • “I want a creative night out that’s different.”

  • “I’d love to make something handmade I can actually use.”

Creativity That Gives Back

Every Aluminary Arts Workshop supports more than artistic exploration. Twenty percent (20%) of all workshop proceeds are donated to local charities, helping uplift organizations that strengthen our community. When you create with us, your participation makes a meaningful impact beyond the studio.

The Founders Return Pass

Founding Season participants receive a personal return invitation — a second workshop at half tuition within the next year. Founding workshops begin March 24 through April 15. (Founders Pass Terms)
